Randy L. Friedman |

Randy Friedman is
Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Judaic Studies. He received his
Ph.D. from Brown University in 2005. He has been at Binghamton
University since 2005. His areas of research and teaching include
Husserlian Phenomenology, Modern Jewish Thought, and American
Pragmatism. His recent publications include “The Challenge of Selective
Conscientious Objection in Israel,” Theoria: A Journal of Social
and Political Thought, 2006, "Deweyan Pragmatism,” William James Studies (2006), and
"Traditions of Pragmatism and the Myth of the Emersonian Democrat," Transactions of the CS Peirce Society
(2006).
